It inhabits shallow reefs along the coast. Its body color is pale greenish yellow with two dark brown stripes on the sides. The body length is 20-25 cm, reaching a maximum of 40 cm. Its body shape is oval and slightly lateralized. The season is from fall to winter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The white flesh and dark red meat (Chiai) are relatively beautiful, and the skin has a delicious flavor. The flesh is firm and can be served as sashimi, simmered, grilled, or cooked in a pot.
