It inhabits the seafloor at depths of 70~400m in groups. The body length is about 20 cm. Its body shape is elongated and cylindrical. Its body color is pale blue on the back and silvery white on the belly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nigisu is mainly used as a material for dried fish and fish paste, as it fades quickly in freshness.
