It inhabits sandy muddy bottoms at depths of 80~200m. The body length is 15~30 cm. It reaches a maximum of 40 cm. Its body color is quite orange and quite spectacular in appearance. Only three species of the Fusakasago family are generally distributed for food: Izukasago, Oniokoze (Devil stinger), and Fusakasago (Fire fish).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Another name for Izukasago is Oniokoze. The original Oniokoze can be described as duller in color. Izukasago, when fresh, is made into sashimi.
