It inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms at depths of up to 150 m. The inner surface of the pectoral fins has a black spot below, with small blueish-white spots scattered among them. The total length is about 20 cm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Onikanagashira is caught with other fish by bottom trawling and used for food. It is used in fish paste products as well as simmered dishes and is considered a tasty fish.
