It inhabits reefs and coral reefs in waters less than 60 meters deep, but can also sometimes be seen in shallow bays. The body is strongly laterally compressed and has a high body height. The color of the back side is bluish, but the belly side is pure white. It is 30 cm long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The flesh of Yoroiaji is firm and chewy, and it even tastes like a white fish. It also has a small amount of dark red meat (Chiai), which is beautiful to look at. It is delicious when made into sashimi, simmered fish, salt-grilled fish, or fried fish.
