Characteristics:

Australian spiny lobster (Australia Iseebi) is distributed off the west coast of Australia. It has white spots on both sides of its abdomen. It is from 30 to 40 cm in length.

Australian spiny lobster is very similar to the Japanese lobster but is slightly pinkish. One-third of those imported to Japan are live; the rest are frozen. Its sweet and tender flesh is used for sashimi and fried, steamed, and gratin dishes.
