Houmonazumacho Junmai Daiginjoshu

This is a pleasant ginjoshu with a rich flavor and a sharp aftertaste. When you take a sip, the gentle sweetness of the rice and the pleasant flavor spread pleasantly through your mouth. When paired with toppings that have robust and complex flavors such as conger eel or sea urchin, it further enhances the hidden umami, really creating a partnership between the sushi and sake. When served at room temperature or warmed, it exhibits an extremely rich taste. The sensation in your mouth is wonderful even as you notice that the fruity, sweet flavor is something you would never expect from Japanese sake.
